At the invitation of the President of Mongolia, Ukhnaagiin Khurelsukh, the President of the Republic of Korea, Lee Jae-myung, and First Lady Kim Hye-kyung are paying a state visit to Mongolia from July 9 to 11.

As part of the visit, First Lady Kim Hye-kyung visited the Chinggis Khaan National Museum, where she was welcomed on July 9, 2026, by the museum’s director, S. Chuluun, and B. Sergelen, Cultural and Religious Policy Advisor to the President of Mongolia.

During the visit, Mongolia’s First Lady, L. Bolortsetseg, was also present, and the Director of the Genghis Khan National Museum, S. Chuluun, and the Director of the Museum's Center for Foreign Relations and Cooperation, T. Enkhtungalag, made explanations, and paid tribute to the Great Statue in the Museum's Hall of Honor.

They also visited the museum's "Silver Tree" hall and viewed Mongolian national clothing and accessories produced by the Silk Salon, as well as the special exhibition “Mongolian Blacksmiths: Horse Culture” displayed at the museum.
